Course Description

A PhD in Travel and Tourism Management prepares participants for careers in research and teaching related to business management of the hospitality and tourism industries. Coursework may include research design, statistics, psychology, sociology, and marketing. The programme aims at producing human resources with academic as well as management acumen in aspects of tourism planning, development and research to enhance the quality of all tourism activities.

Eligibility

Candidates should have a post graduate degree in relevant subject or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university board.
