Course Description

PhD in Languages is a Doctoral level thesis course of 3 years which is advanced education and research in the structure and fluency in domestic and international languages. The research is done in various Language concepts like Semantics and Lexicography, Morphology and Syntax, Dialectology, Bilingualism and Multilingualism etc. Upon completion of the PhD course candidates can expect to get jobs like Language or Linguistics Professors in Universities, translators, foreign diplomats, Language historian, forensic linguistics, Content writers etc.

Eligibility

The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
