PhD in Forensic Science is a full-time doctorate program that takes 2-5 years for completion. The course basically focuses on the collection and analysis of physical evidence to apprehend the cause of physical injuries or the cause of death in the living organisms. The course deals with the detailed aspects of the field. This course is for those candidates who are desirous of becoming excellent researchers in the field of forensic science and those who want to work in the medical field.
The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
