Course Description

Ph.D. in Food Technology is 3-5 years research based degree program. This course provides core knowledge in meat and marine technology, food microbiology, advance beverage technology, food process modelling, food production technology. The course also consists of project work and generating thesis at the end of the program, the topic will be suggested by the faculty of the colleges.


The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in food technology or in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
