Ph.D. in Applied Psychology is a 3 years doctorate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Cognition and memory, Cross-cultural psychology, Gender psychology, Industrial and occupational psychology, Psychology of decisions, Social psychology, etc. The course takes a research based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as industrial-occupational psychologists, Clinical Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Research Psychologist, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.
The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
