Course Description

Post Graduate Diploma in Biostatics is Diploma level Biostatics programme. Biostatistics is the specialized application of statistics (involving study design, data collection, data analysis and interpretation) to the field of health. This program aims to fill the gap between programs in public health and epidemiology (which train users of bio statistical methods, not professional biostatisticians) and general statistics programs (which do not cater for the diverse and specialized needs in health research).

Eligibility

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
