The study of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law is intended to provide an expertise to candidates to deal with situations of international or internal armed conflicts in their professional capacities and the one's with keen interested in knowing more about regulation of armed conflicts. This course provides a framework of basic rights that are based on shared values like dignity, fairness, equality, respect and independence and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from birth until death. The study focuses on meeting the developing needs of human rights, common freedoms, civil liberties, international humanitarian issues, disaster and emergency relief, refugee rights and laws, apartheid and racial discrimination, judicial activism, drug abuse and global territorial points of view of human rights.
The candidate should have passed a UG in similar specialization from a recognized university.
