Course Description

M.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology teaches students about procedures for diagnostic testing in a laboratory and also helps them analyze and identify substances, and microorganisms using common instruments found in a laboratory. Some major concepts covered by the program in this course are Chemistry, Human Biology, Organic Chemistry, Haematology, Bacteriology and Medical Technology Students in this course gain experience in laboratory procedures, learn to analyze various substances including glucose, enzymes, and electrolytes. They also work with instruments, including learning theory procedure, spectrometer, laboratory mathematics, and clinical applications. Coursework covers identification of pathogenic microorganisms and their disease processes.

Eligibility

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in any faculty or relevant discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
