Course Description

MSc in Physics (Specialization: Electronics) is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Mathematical Physics, Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics, Condensed Matter Physics, Electrodynamics, Basic Electronic, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Physics of Semiconductor Devices, Analog Electronics, Computational Techniques and Programming, Measurement Techniques in Physics, Digital Electronics, Nano Electronics, Opto Electronics, etc. The course takes a practical and theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Maintenance Manager- Electricals/Electronics, Purchase Manager - Electronics, Marketing Executive - Electronics, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.


The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
