Course Description

Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) - Sports is a 2 years post graduate course that deals with sport related injuries. The program is designed in a way to prepare students to help recover athlete’s injuries, sports related injuries and to treat them pre-op and post-op. The curriculum covers areas like Applied Medical Science, Kinesiology and Biomechanics, Research Methodology & Biostatistics, Sports Injuries Diagnosis & Management, Sports Physiotherapy Methods,Sports Psychology, Pedagogy in Physiotherapy, Medical Conditions in Sports Persons, Latest Advancements in Sports Medicine, etc. on completion of the course, candidates can work in hospitals, polyclinics, multi-specialty clinics, private practice, defense services, and healthcare panels of different companies.

Eligibility

As a minimum criterion of eligibility, candidates aspiring for the course need to be qualified in BPT from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
