Master of Dental Surgery [MDS]

Course Description

MDS or Master in Dental Surgery is a specialized area of medical science that concentrates only on the oral and dental section. MDS is a full time degree of two years duration with specialisations for diseases related to Tooth, Jaw and other Facial tissues, dental science is dealing to help in maintaining oral health.The programmes prepare students to be both practitioners and advisory consultants in their chosen areas of specialisation. Within each programme, papers on research methods and practice, advanced clinical science, and advanced clinical practice are included.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this course, the candidate has to be a Bachelor of Dental Science graduate from a recognised Dental College in India with a minimum of 50%. Candidates possessing a PG Diploma recognised by Dental Council of India with the duration of two years is also eligible for MDS.
