M.Tech Research Process Metallurgy is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Advanced Numerical Methods & Computational Techniques, Industrial Engineering, Advanced Powder Technology, Physical Metallurgy, Laboratory Heat Treatment Laboratory Mineral Dressing, etc. The course takes a research based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Production Metallurgy Engineer, Application Engineer, Process Design Engineer, Production Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Metallurgist, Welding Engineer, etc.. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.
The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
