M.Tech. Power and Energy Systems or Master of Technology in Power and Energy Systems is a two-year postgraduate Electrical Engineering programme. The Course focuses on concepts and systems used in the generation, transmission, delivery, utilization, storage and control of electric power and energy. Topics include electrical power generation and transmission; electric machines, drives and power electronics; high voltage systems; planning, operation, security, and protection of power and energy systems; renewable energy systems. After passing the course they have so many career options including higher studies.
The candidate should have completed B. Tech./B.E. from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
