Course Description

Master of Technology in Bioprocess Technology is a two-year postgraduate Biotechnology Course. Course covers applied biology & biochemistry, bio molecular engineering, bio catalysis; molecular biology; biotransformation, combinatorial chemistry, microbiology; metabolic engineering, pharmaceutics; biomaterials, bioprocess control; system engineering, bio separation, biosensor; bioelectronics, cell culture engineering, environmental biotechnology, food tech-neology, and nano-biotechnology. It provides many career opportunities after its successful completion in both government and private fields.


The candidate should have done B.Tech., B.Chem. Tech., B.E., B.Sc(Tech). or equivalent engineering/technology degree in Biotechnology, Bio-chemical Engineering from University of Mumbai or from any other recognized University with an aggregate of 60% and above or equivalent grade point average.
