M.Sc. Toxicology

Course Description

M.Sc. Toxicology is a 2 years full-time post-graduate programme. The programme mainly focuses on the interactions of the potentially harmful substances and the environment. The course aims to assist students in constructing new, safe and effective medicines and in inspecting the effects of harmful substances on the environment. The course is most suitable for students who wish to specialize in the stream of toxicology and want to explore new things. After successful completion of the course, students can opt for jobs in a variety of fields such as universities and colleges, research labs, hospitals and government organizations and so on. Students can also choose to pursue higher education such as M.Phil or PhD in toxicology.

Eligibility

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Toxicology or any faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
