Course Description

M.Sc. (Statistics and Data Analytics) is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Probability Theory and Estimation, Data Structures and Algorithms, Optimization Techniques, Introduction to Data Science, Python Programming, Statistical Inference and Design of Experiments, Multivariate Statistics and Regression Analysis, Big Data Analytics and Hadoop, etc. The course takes a practical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Market Research Analyst, Data Analyst, Statistician, Data Scientist, Business Analyst, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.
