Course Description

MSc Nutrition and Dietetics is a two-year postgraduate programme that focuses on the concepts of food nutrition and its effects on the human body. In the modern day, a balanced and nutritionally dense diet plan is required to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Only nutritionists and dietitians are qualified to provide a healthy food plan that will enhance one`s quality of life. Taking this into consideration, the course is increasing popularity. As implied by the course`s title, the curriculum was executed through the lens of a master`s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. After obtaining this degree, post-graduates in this course are placed in a variety of health organisations, research institutions, hospitals, and other food organisations. The MSc Nutrition and Dietetics curriculum is divided into four semesters, with each course covering a different aspect of food and human nutrition. The course is designed to increase students` understanding of a variety of topics, including the effects of nutrients in food on the human body, the quality, composition, and safety qualities of food components, and the fundamentals of a balanced food diet and its effect on the human body. Thus, students interested in pursuing an MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics must be sufficiently conversant with all of them. Additionally, the following abilities are necessary for this course: Must be knowledgeable about various nutrients and their real use in food, must be vigilant about health-related safety and cleanliness regimens, and must possess strong communication skills. Students who finish this post-graduate degree programme will be qualified for a variety of MSc Nutrition and Dietetics positions based on their talents and interests. There are several MSc Nutrition and Dietetics positions available at public health clinics, private and government hospitals, health maintenance organisations, research institutes, airlines, and athlete camps. Students who complete this PG degree are qualified to work as Clinical Dieticians, Management Dieticians, and Consultant Dieticians, among other positions. Additionally, they may work as a Private Practitioner, Private Dietician Consultant, Pediatric Dietric Specialist, or as an Assistant in an organization`s dietetic department, among other positions.
