Course Description

M. Pharm. in Pharmacy Practice is a 2-year postgraduate Pharmacy course. The course is designed to teach the students the technical procedures for preparing and dispensing drugs in hospitals and retail settings under supervision of Registered Pharmacists. They are taught to make effective and safe use of pharmaceutical products. The course syllabus covers topics like UV-Visible Spectroscopy, Community Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, Pharmacoepidemiology, Pharmacoeconomics, Drugs & Poisons Information, Optical Rotatory Dispersion, Infrared Spectrophotometry, Flame Emission Spectroscopy and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, Hematological diseases, Endocrine system, Oncology, etc.

Eligibility

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
