An M.Ch in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery makes the graduates capable of performing surgeries so as to reestablish the structure and capacity of the body, which excludes aesthetic or corrective medical procedure. For instance, plastic specialists, maxillo-facial specialists and otolaryngologists do reconstructive medical procedure on countenances after injury and also reshape the head and neck after malignant or tumorous growth.
The candidate should have completed Master’s degree and a post graduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB)/ Provisional Pass Certificate, or equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 55% from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.Admission to the course is based on the candidate’s rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Super Specialty (NEET-SS).
