DM in Cardiology is 3 years postgraduate degree program. The program is for aspirants who wants to pursue specialty in dealing with disorders of heart. The main objective of the course is to provide practical knowledge in diagnosis and treatment of valvular heart disease and electrocardiography, congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure.
The candidate should have completed Master’s degree and a post graduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB)/ Provisional Pass Certificate, or equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 55% from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.Admission to the course is based on the candidate’s rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Super Specialty (NEET-SS).
