DM Critical Care Medicine course structure is designed in a manner so, as to impart knowledge and skills that a practicing doctor would require while handling emergency and critical care cases which require quick reaction and response. The functional area of study deals with the treatment and medication of the human body that is under the influence of biological attacks like a heart attack or injuries due to accidents. Students also acquire skills in the supervision of paramedical staff and are able to work as a team member of the health care providers.
A candidate must possess a degree M.D. in Anaesthesiology/Medicine/Chest Medicine of this Institute or any other University or equivalent degree recognized by the MCI.
