Course Description

Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology prepares aspirants to work in the operation theatre (OT) and to be trusted and capable technologist of a healthcare department, under the supervision and guidance of highly qualified doctors and Technical persons in their delivery of patient care and to work efficiently in a team. They learn how to use, conduct operation and derive results from different diagnostic equipment like Ventilators, monitors, Defibrillators, C-arm etc. It provides training to gain knowledge and skills of monitoring infection control policy and carrying out various procedures in the operation theatre and identifying patient symptoms and behaviour.

Eligibility

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 in any stream or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
