Diploma in Forestry and Wildlife Management is a course based on wildlife and conservation management which teaches students how to conserve and manage the plants, animals, water and land found in wild areas, other outdoor recreation environments and wildlife reservations. The course includes topics like wildlife management techniques, fish pond management, habitat manipulation, mammalogy and dendrology. It will help students develop career as forestry officials comprising researchers, educators, workers and managers. And they will be dealing with resources through application of bio-techniques with the aim of sustainable utilization.
The candidate should have qualified 10+2 any stream or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
