Course Description

BSc Mathematics Complementary: Physics and Statistics is a 3 years undergraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Descriptive Statistics, Probability and Random Variables, Statistical Distributions, Statistical Inference, Foundations of mathematics, Abstract algebra, Basic mathematical analysis, Real analysis, Methodology and tools of Physics, Properties of Matter, Waves and Acoustics, Electrodynamics, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Accountant, Teacher, Researcher, Statistician, Aerodynamics Specialist etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibility

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
