Bachelor of Management Studies (Hotel Management & Catering Technology) is a 3 years undergraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Food Production and Patisserie, Front Office Operations, Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping Operations, Introduction to the Hospitality Mgmt., Material Management & Development, Principles of Management, etc. The course takes a practical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Front Office Executive, Assistant Manager, Restaurant Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, Steward, etc. Applicants with good communication skills, presentation skills, ability to handle people, verbal fluency are suitable for the course. Applicants can further work in cruise ships, tourism, airlines, and food craft institutes.
The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
