Course Description

B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering course deals with Design and Construction of Ships and Offshore structures by giving hands-on experience and interaction with professionals. This course is a mixture of Naval Architecture sector which deals with the design, planning, making and repair of ships (merchant and military ships), submarines, yachts, etc and Offshore engineering which deals with the design, planning, construction and maintenance of offshore structures and installations as offshore drilling rigs, oil platform, submerged pipelines, offshore wind farms etc. Candidates also gain skills such as Sound technical skills, Good man-management skills, Project management skills and design software (such as CAD)

Eligibility

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (science stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
