Course Description

The programme is focused on the study of food management and the promotion of health through healthy food. This essentially involves advanced learning in ways to enhance the quality of life and overall well-being through dietary modifications. It involves the study of food management, promotion of health through healthy food, and primarily deals with the relationship between the body and food.


The candidate should have qualified 10+2 any stream or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate. Some universities/ colleges also accept Botany/ Zoology/ Computer Science/ Biochemistry instead of Biology as one of the main subjects studied in class XII.
