Course Description

B.Sc in Geology involves the study of the Earth, its physical features, rocks, water resources and all the phenomenon that change the physical features of the earth. It includes the study of mineralogy, palaeontology, petrology, economic geology, hydrogeology, stratigraphy, structural geology etc.Moreover, this course provides students with a great knowledge of nature and different natural phenomena like earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis and many others, how they occur, their after-effects etc.

Eligibility

The candidate should have eligibility a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/ or Math as main subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 55% marks.
