B.Sc in Chemistry,Environmental Science,Zoology is a 3 years undergraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Atomic Structure, General Principles of Metallurgy, Periodicity of Elements, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Catalysis by Organometallic Compounds, Stereochemistry, Environmental Management, Natural Resources Management, India's Environment, Environmental Economics, Environment and Development, Environmental Policies, Life and Diversity from Protozoa to Porifera and Cell Biology, Life and Diversity from Annelida to Arthropoda and Genetics, Life and Diversity from Molluaska to Hemichordata and Genetics, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Quality Controller, Biomedical Chemist, Chemical Engineering Associate, Industrial Research Scientist, Animal Caretakers, Zoo Curator, Environmental Consultant, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.
The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
