Course Description

Bachelor of Design in Leather Design is an extensive course that aims to empower the candidates with the knowledge of Leather qualities & potential, its usage, applications and maintenance, hand tools safety rules, different patterns & cuts of leather and many other aspects both in theory and practice. The program includes inputs ranging from market research, material and technical information, selection methods, quality and cost control of materials, different types of machinery, different processes used and pattern designing of different leather garments based on current industry standards. Purpose of this designing course is to produce highly focuses and dedicated holistic professional to meet the human resource requirement of the leather industry

Eligibility

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
