Course Description

B A Sociology Complementary: Psychology and Indian History is a 3 years undergraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Invitation to Sociology, Foundation of Sociological Theories, Classical Sociological Thinkers, Theoretical Perspectives in Sociology, Sociology of Indian Society, Contemporary Indian Society, Social Anthropology, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as a Social Worker, Counsellor, Sociologist, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.


The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
