B A Multimedia Communication Complementary: Journalism is a 3 years undergraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Modern Prose and Drama, Introduction to Communication, Media Laws and Ethics, Inspiring Expressions, Reading on Society, Creativity and Design Skills, Fundamentals of Multimedia, Introduction to Cinema, Media Publishing, Computer Graphics, Digital Photography, Design and Pagination, Entrepreneurship Development, Basics of Audio and Video, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Web designer, Graphic designer, Video game designer, Columnist, Business Editor, Photojournalist, Feature Writer, Sub Editor, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.
The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
