Who is Statistician?
Statisticians are experts who use statistical methods and models to solve problems in the real world. They collect, analyse, and evaluate data to help with a variety of business decisions. Statisticians are in high demand across a wide range of industries, with the most popular employment being in business, health and medicine, government, physical sciences, and environmental sciences.To collect data, statisticians create surveys, experiments, and opinion polls. They also decide on the sort and size of the sample that will be polled or surveyed. Statisticians are generally tasked with interpreting data in order to inform organisational and corporate strategy, such as recognising changes in customer behaviour and purchasing trends.

Statisticians use their mathematical and statistical skills to design surveys and experiments, as well as gather, process, and analyse data, and interpret experiment and survey results. Statisticians are typically responsible for opinion polls, assertions about the accuracy of scales and other measuring instruments, and information about average salaries in a given occupation.

What are the skills, abilities & aptitude needed to become Statistician?
Analaysing the huge set of data to interpret the trends and patterns being the most important responsibility of a statistician one must have good analytical skills, they must know various analytic methods. To collect and manipulate the huge ste of data, one must have the technical skills including computer proficiency, algorithms and other technocal abilities. The findings concluded from the analysis must be communicated effectively with other memebers of the organisation who might not be able to understand the complex terms in statistics. Therefor strong communication skills are vital. They must also have good critical thinking ability, numerical skills, good inetrpersonal skills etc.
