Sound Engineer is a professional who manages and delivers pre-recorded and lives audio through electronic means in various formats. Sound engineers are masters in working with delicate audio equipment and producing high-quality sound. Sound engineers are skilled with sensitive audio equipment and the know-how to use it to generate high-quality sound. They are expected to be knowledgeable about different audio recording and editing techniques. Before events, broadcasts, or recordings, they are in charge of setting up and testing sound equipment, as well as editing and mixing audio tracks (instruments, vocals etc.)

  • They are responsible for assembling, maintaining and operating the technical equipment that are used to record, mix enhance and amplify sound quality. 
  • They have to set up and maintain regular inspection of sound equipment.
  • They collaborate with video editors, light experts and cameramen to bring lively experience.
  • They also assist in synchronizing audio tracks with video editors.
  • They test and improve sound quality by adding sound effects. 
  • Lastly, they stay updated with latest trends and best practices.
