Multitasking and coordination is required to rotate the wheel as well as to work with the molds simultaneously. Critical thinking, problem solving, creative thinking etc. are the virtues of a potter. They must be skilled enough to operate the tools and control them. They must also be able to monitor themselves and make improvements and corrective actions when necessary. Active listening and good communicative skills would enable them to enhance their sales and customer relations.
