Who is Photonics Engineer?

Photonics is the science of using photons (unit of light) to produce energy, detect or transmit information. A Photonics engineer creates and improves modern technology products which use Photonics like lasers, optics, fibre optics, and imaging. They are tasked with developing photonics-based devices and components. Following the completion of a design plan, the team is responsible for overseeing the construction of a prototype. It is at this time that Photonics engineers carry out testing to see whether the integrated component is working as intended.
