Pharmacists are medical professionals that specialise in the safe and effective use, storage, and distribution of drugs. They can explain how to take medications and warn you about any possible adverse effects. Doctors and other healthcare professionals write prescriptions, which are subsequently filled. Pharmacists also assist in the creation and testing of medications. They are employed by pharmacies, medical clinics, hospitals, institutions, and government entities.
