Who is Interpreter and Translator?
During debates, symposiums, teleconferences, and meetings, for example, a Translator or Interpreter translates written materials from one language to another or translates speech/talk from one language to another. Depending on the context, they either make the precise or accurate translation. In addition, interpreters are sometimes used to translate written communication from one language to another. Interpreters operate in various fields, including education, health care, insurance, and the judicial system.

An Interpreter and Translator is a professional who works in languages. Their work is to translate the verbal or written text from one language to another. These professionals are highly in demand these days as they are the vital bridge that forms the precise communication between the sender and the receiver. The Interpreter and Translator's job is to understand the content and the context of the information, the denotative and the connotative meaning of the expressions used in one language, and then translate and make the other person understand it without any communication or interpretive barrier. Interpreters and translators adhere to their profession's norms and ethics while maintaining information confidentiality.
- Reads and rewrites written Materials of other languages, followed by rechecking proper use of word meanings, sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, and mechanics.
- Acts as an interpreter on stage in a live discussion, meeting, speech, teleconference, symposiums between two parties who use different languages as a medium of communication simultaneously translating language.
- Listens to statements in one particular language and then translates to other languages and vice versa.
- Plans and executes briefings with each party to pre-plan materials or ideas to discuss upon.
- Rehearse and study the subjects on which discussions can happen before communication between various parties.
- Travel with the party to various locations, regions or countries to interpret local language and translate it to make the team understand.
- Do miscellaneous jobs related to language translation as assigned by the company.

What are the skills, abilities & aptitude needed to become Interpreter and Translator?
- The primary duty of a Translator is to interpret and translate languages from one to another, and thus the profession requires fluency in multiple languages.
- The other most crucial skill required is Communication Skills.
- The Translator should be able to speak well and be an excellent listener.
- Translators need to be able to speak up confidently. In addition, a Translator needs always to write scripts and translate them, so they should be able to have good writing skills and accurately note them down in a different language.
- They should also be able to collaborate with different Parties between whom dialogues will happen and be able to comprehend the company or Group's Eulogy.

Translators are typically hired on a temporary or permanent basis by various organizations/companies/diplomats to interpret and translate the languages of other parties in various regions, states, or countries. As a result, the Translator must frequently travel both domestically and internationally. But in other cases, Translators may be confined to office spaces without the need for much mobility. Translators may work with private organizations and with different Governments and hence can also get to work in Consulates and Diplomatic houses.
