Who is Communication Manager?
The mission, goods, and/or services of a firm are promoted by a communications manager. They collaborate closely with executives and management teams to build a company's image and values, as well as the best ways to express them to the public. The communications manager ensures that messaging is consistent with the company's main goals. They may also act as a company's official spokesperson and media liaison, holding briefings and news conferences. They are in charge of everything from brand collateral development to internal and external communications and marketing initiatives. They also collaborate with the media to get the brand noticed in local, national, and international publications. Communications managers operate in a variety of settings, including huge enterprises, government agencies, and small firms in a variety of industries.

What does Communication Manager do?
A communications manager works in the domain of communication and marketing. In the business and marketing worlds, they mostly deal with verbal and written communication. They work on a wide variety of tasks like the curation of the written print and the development of it. The communications manager is also responsible for developing, analysing, editing, and processing all textual data, as well as online advertising, email-based marketing, and on-site management of all content that must be visible to the general public. They not only curate information, but also write and edit press releases, byline articles, promotional films, collaterals, market-based budgets, and cost analyses for content that is intended to be disseminated for marketing and branding.
- Develop and edit communication materials like newsletters, blogs, press releases, and similar marketing materials in order to promote the company’s products and services.
- Implement the company’s communication plan in order to increase brand awareness.
- Develop an overall communications strategy for the company
- Incorporate Public Release, Digital, and Traditional Marketing efforts.
- Measure and analyze current communications efforts.
- Oversee and allocate the annual communications budget and ensure its use is fully maximized.
- Work with different marketing departments to generate new ideas and innovative strategies..
- Develop and manage relationships with key media players to secure and grow media online and offline coverage.
- Write press releases for local, national, and international media.
- Monitor press releases that relate to the company’s brand
- Ensure communications consistency among different stakeholders.
- Develop, plan, implement and monitor the company’s internal communication strategy.
- Communicate brand values to both internal and external customers and stakeholders.

- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including the ability to present concepts verbally

- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
